Insurances

Tricare (via SOS International), Blue Cross Blue Shield (via GeoBlue) and afspa/Foreign Service Business Plan reimburse our standard fees except for co-payments or deductibles. Unfortunately, I do not accept German health insurance or cash payments.

I offer direct billing for

- Tricare Overseas Program (TOP) - I am a network provider.

- Blue Cross Blue Shield - Federal Employee Program (FEP) Members - I am a network provider and have a direct billing contract with GeoBlue. Starting 2025 all copayments and deductibles for my services are waived for FEP members.

For clients insured by AFSPA/Foreign Service Benefit Plan (FSBP):

FSBP does not offer direct billing but considers providers outside the U.S. as if they are in the Plan’s network. Therefore, FSBP pays for claims for providers outside the U.S. at the in-network co-insurance benefit. There are no reductions to Plan allowance or fee schedules (FSBP Overseas Coverage).

Other insurance companies do not support direct billing from German private practices. However, a billing invoice is provided, which you can turn in to your health insurance provider.

As I am an USA-licensed LCPC with an accredited graduate program in counseling (CACREP)  international insurances (e.g. GEHA, CIGNA) will reimburse their clients for my service.

Depending on your insurance policy, you may be reimbursed for part or all your sessions. To make sure, I recommend checking with your insurance company in advance.
