I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) from Kansas City/USA working in the mental health field since 1998. I provide services in Grafenwoehr/ Germany close to USAG Bavaria-Vilseck/Grafenwoehr.

The clients I provide services for are adults living and working for USAG or international companies. I also welcome retirees and expats living in Germany.

My experience in the USA includes working in outpatient treatment centers, hospitals, intensive-in-home therapy for adults and children, school settings and community mental health clinics.

I have worked on military installations throughout Europe for seven years.

This has provided me experience in working with the military community and I am sensitive to the challenges that it sometimes can bring to individuals and families.

As an expat myself, I understand the challenges of adjusting to a new country and culture. This can lead to feelings of isolation when your natural supports such as family and friends are thousands of miles away.  I recognize that relocation and overseas adjustment poses unique challenges and I can provide support in helping you with your adjustment and to learn new ways in which to cope with these stressors.

Approaches I use are Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy and Psychodynamic Therapy.

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with over 8 years of experience working with people from diverse cultural backgrounds. I value a trauma-informed, compassionate, and empathetic approach.

Growing up bilingual (English-German) and being a military spouse myself, I have personally experienced frequent moves, adjusting to new surroundings and coping with separation from friends and family.

As a mother, I know first-hand what challenges parenthood holds. My clientele consists of families and individuals age 18 and up facing various challenges related to separation from loved ones, anxiety, depression, perinatal mental health, parenting stress, OCD, posttraumatic stress, self-harm, suicidal thoughts, and domestic violence. I have provided counseling services in a private practice setting as well as in a community mental health setting, where families in the foster care system received court-ordered therapy services.

I enjoy utilizing a person-centered approach to therapy and pull techniques from dialectical behavior therapy, cognitive-behavioral therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, mindfulness, and EMDR therapy.
